Labour law is a core area of our specialization. It accounts for almost half of our legal practice.  Our lawyers and associates have extensive experience in the integral legal advice on labour and employment matters to national and multinational companies, as well as individuals.

We are a member of the European Employment Lawyers Association (EELA) established almost 20 years ago with the aim to bring together practicing employment lawyers across the European Union. We were officially appointed to host and organize the 2018 Annual EELA Conference in Bratislava.

In 2012 we became the first Slovak Affiliate of lus Laboris, a prestigious international association of 1400 Labour, Employment, and Pension Lawyers in over 50 countries, ranking it as the biggest authority in the field of labour and employment law. Through membership in Ius Laboris, we offer an unmatched depth of support to clients’ international employment law needs.

Our leadership in this industry is also confirmed by the fact that we won the title “Employment Law Firm of the Year” in the local competition several times. 

In 2022 we added a victory as “The Largest Law Firm” in Slovakia in the labour law category in the competition organized by the Slovak Spectator, in cooperation with the Finstat company.

In addition to local competitions, the law firm NITSCHNEIDER & PARTNERS also excelled in foreign rankings.

 

In the Chambers Europe 2022 edition, we were ranked as a BAND 1 - top Leading Law firm in Slovakia in the Employment category. Founding partner Dušan Nitschneider defended a BAND 1 rating and thus became the only best-rated employment lawyer in Slovakia.
